Observers:
Weather: Started out at 10C and reached 17C. Intermittent rain showers throughout the viewing time with hours 3 and 4 receiving the least amount of rain. Wind speeds reached 11mph.
Raptor Observations: Spent most time watching near pond. The first raptor appeared ~10:15 which was a Sharp-shinned Hawk heading NE. The first Osprey of the hawk watch season was only seen by Sue Barth but a second one flew over during hour 4. Not great numbers of Turkey Vultures but still some flocks moving through in the rain.
Non-raptor Observations: A total of 45 species seen. Personal FOY Eastern Phoebe, Barn Swallow, Osprey and Pied-billed Grebe. Species on the pond included Canada Goose, Mallard, Wood Duck, Lesser Scaup and Pied-billed Grebe. Also a good flight of blackbirds.
