- Comments: "Continuing female (3/22/23 Spotting Towhees) - Small diving duck with brown crown, white face, brown iris, brown cheek, white base of neck and upper breast, short bill with olive green and blue metal coloring and black tip and brown back. Observed diving in creek north of Hwy 1 bridge and also loafing on sandbar opposite the campground."

- Comments: "Continuing male all black and white observed bark gleaning in trees along board walk on south side of creek . Thia bird showed long, sharp, steel-gray bill, black crown stripes, white median stripe, black ariculars, lower white eye arcs, black with white flecks on throat, mostly black above with two white wing-bars, black streaking on white breast and sides and black spotting on undertail."
