Since moving to Windsor Locks our “backyard” is a huge parking lot abutting CT River, Windsor Locks Canal and park
Recorded 30 species this morning the most since last summer.
Notably several small groups of American Goldfinch,
an Eastern Pheobe, groups of Fish and American crows and Hooded Mergansers..
This is the third time Merlin recently detected an Eastern Bluebird and Killdeer - with no sign of them.
Coincidentally a Northern Mockingbird is detected right before these birds are detected. 🤣 I’m suspicious! So maybe only 28 species?!
