I walked the perimeter of More Mesa today, hoping for a return visit from the White-tailed Kite reported earlier. No luck on that score, but I had two Western Kingbirds hawking from the top of a Baccharis shrub. I also enjoyed watching White-throated Swifts from above as they swooped and glided around the cliffs below.
