Weather: Bright but overcast and drizzling with southwest winds in the morning. The sun broke through for a bit, but the drizzle kept coming back. The warm temperatures were cooled by sudden downpours of rain and high gusty winds.
Raptor Observations: Turkey vultures would occasionally fly in the valley, but most were not migrating. Two Cooper’s Hawks were also flying around hunting, but not migrating.
Non-raptor Observations: American Crow, American Robin, Black-capped Chickadee, Blue Jay, Chipping Sparrow, Chimney Swift, Dark-eyed Junco, Downy Woodpecker, Fox Sparrow, Eastern Bluebird, Eastern Phoebe, Eastern Towhee, Northern Cardinal, Northern Flicker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Tufted Titmouse, White-Breasted Nuthatch
