The Lapland longspurs are still present at Scusset Beach. I had to wait
until my hands lost feeling before I saw them. Three males, very well
camouflaged in the grasses. Lifer.
After wandering fruitlessly, another birder sent me to the correct
area. They were in the grassy field on the right as you enter the park
area large parking lot, near the fencing. The playground is in sight,
farther on.
