A small tringa with black bill and bright yellow legs. White eye line and emerging barring on the chest. Slaty grey wings. Loafed with the turnstones on the rock at the given coordinates."

Most likely first winter to summer juvenile. Pale in its entirely, including the wing tips without any signs of dots. Wing was long but proportionally narrow. Also heavy billed with a dark tip. Seen flying with a smaller western adult chasing it. Flew south past spooner’s cove."
