Weather: Cloudy at first, then mostly cloudy; 45-66 degrees; good visibility; winds light and variable 3-8 mph
Raptor Observations: When cloud cover eased a bit, the raptors began to fly. Several kettles of vultures formed as if they had been roosting nearby, waiting for good flying conditions.
Non-raptor Observations: Common Loon, 11 Ring-necked Ducks, Beaver
Site Description Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest.
