Weather: Clear and breezy with west winds 9-16 mph with a few higher gusts. Some increasing clouds in the last 2 hours ahead of a stationary front. Temperatures ranged from 44'-54'F. Coinciding with increasing clouds was moderate haze.
Raptor Observations: The immediate wind from the west had the local TV's leave their roost early and immediately went down. Migrants were few and hard to come by. Bald Eagles, on the other hand, enjoyed the wind and conditions. Local Raptors continue their display flights in earnest. Local Raptors: BV-2, TV-22, BE-6, SS-1, CH-2, RS-1 Non-raptor Observations: C.Goose-143, Common Merganser-2, Wood Duck-5, Duck Species-5, Great Blue Heron-1, Killdeer-2, Red Bellied Woodpecker-1, Tree Swallow-4, Raven-4, C.Crow-6, Blue Jay-11, E.Bluebird-1, A.Robin-14, Starling- 100+/-, House Sparrow-20+/-, Song Sparrow- 15+/-, White Throated Sparrow-2, D.E.Junco-4, N.Cardinal-4, A.Goldfinch-1, C.Grackle-1, Red Winged Blackbird-6, Brown Headed Cowbird-1 Predictions: Showers and drizzle through the day with East Winds as a stationary front is forecast and will stall over Massachusetts.
