Weather: Cool weather during the count with temps of 8-9 degrees C, very light winds from the SSE, completely cloudy with no precipitation.
Raptor Observations: The count was conducted from near the main entrance (east) to the cemetery from 9 am to 12 pm. Then, from 12 pm to 2 pm near the pond by the west entrance to better see the migration which largely took place near/over the ice covered lake. The minimal flight consisted almost totally of Turkey Vultures, with and adult Bald Eagle, 2 Red-tailed Hawks, and an unknown accipiter. Local birds, Red-tailed Hawk and a Merlin were observed perching for a period of time.
Non-raptor Observations: Pond - 3 Mallards, 1 Wood Duck, 1 Lesser Scaup, and 6 Hooded Mergansers. Flyover of a handful of Great Blue Herons, Canada Geese and lots of gulls. Usual birds on the lawn and nearby trees, and 2 Killdeer on the flat roof of the neighboring factory.
