Raptor Observations:
The count was conducted from near the main entrance (east) to the cemetery
from 9 am to 12 pm. Then, from 12 pm to 2 pm near the pond by the west
entrance to better see the migration which largely took place near/over the
ice covered lake. The minimal flight consisted almost totally of Turkey

accipiter. Local birds, Red-tailed Hawk and a Merlin were observed perching
for a period of time.

Non-raptor Observations:
Pond - 3 Mallards, 1 Wood Duck, 1 Lesser Scaup, and 6 Hooded Mergansers.
Flyover of a handful of Great Blue Herons, Canada Geese and lots of gulls.
Usual birds on the lawn and nearby trees, and 2 Killdeer on the flat roof
of the neighboring factory.

Predictions:
Temps of 13 degrees C. Intermittent clouds with possible rain. Very gusty
winds from the SW.
