Hi Dan,
I think this changed during some of the user interface updates within the
past year, but my workflow is slightly different than the one you outline,
though I could replicate your experience. Assuming you're using a browser,
I was able to click 'Bird List' in the left navigation pane and that
defaulted to April, All Years, showing 168 species for Tower Grove Park.
I know it's an extra click but hopefully this gets you the info you're
seeking.
