Raptor Observations: 1,090 Turkey Vultures were the main attraction. The highest count was in Hour 5. One Bald Eagle was barely spotted at a great distance in Hour 2.Several Red-tailed Hawks passed by, but no Red-shouldered were seen. One Sharp-shinned and one American Kestrel appeared to be migrating by. A local Cooper's Hawk was chasing American Robins in the southwest corner of the open area behind the mausoleum.
Non-raptor Observations: The pond was very "quiet" with just 3 pairs of Mallards and 3 Canada Geese.
Predictions: Tomorrow looks a bit warmer with a southeast wind. Rain possible after 2pm.
