Weather: Today was mostly cloudy with temps in the low 30s. Winds were out of the WNW at 10-20mph. Scattered snow showers in the morning turning to constant snow around noon. The snow stopped around 3 and it became partly sunny.
Raptor Observations: The raptor migration today consisted of two parts: before and after the snow. Before the snow, a flock of 24 Turkey Vultures and 1 Bald Eagle passed by. After the snow, 2 Turkey Vultures made the journey southeast along the shoreline.
Non-raptor Observations: There were quite a few gulls around today including 1 Iceland Gull that flew over the bay and landed on the east spit. The pair of Pied-billed Grebes continue in the marsh.
Predictions: Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with some clouds possible in the afternoon. High around 50F. Winds WSW at 10-20mph. There will hopefully be a decent number of vultures ======================================================================== Report submitted by Maili Waters (<mailirwaters...>) Braddock Bay information may be found at: http://www.bbrr.org/
