This place straddles the Randolph-Braintree border.I birded this very large, peaceful place yesterday from 3:10-7:00p.m. I walked around the entire southern half, including the dike. Things really got cooking towards the end. That's when I was looking at a line of six Gadwalls with my bins while an adult BALD EAGLE was walking along the shore behind them, AND a Barred Owl was calling from the woods.  This happened around 6:05 p.m.

GADWALL 11        five at the southmost area; six a bit north from them
Common Merganser 16
Common Goldeneye 8
Ruddy Duck 29
Ring-necked Duck 9      one of the side wetlands
Bufflehead 10
Bald Eagle 2            parent and young on same boulder in boulders area
Red-shouldered Hawk 2
BARRED OWL 2
Killdeer 1
Eastern Phoebe 1
Fish Crow 7+
Carolina Wren 3
