The Third Edition of "The Birding Sites of Stanislaus and Merced Counties" booklet is now available to the public. Updates from the Second Edition (2016) include the deletion of two sites and the addition of three new sites, for a total of forty-two sites. This 165-page edition also contains an updated Bird Occurrence Bar Chart of the county's 331 bird species, as well as new color photographs of local birds. The suggested donation is $20. The booklets will be available at the Pollinator Festival and Modesto Rec Fest, as well as from field trip leaders and most board members.
