Was at Dead Creek viewing area around 5:30 pm Tuesday and a big falcon was
chasing ducks. My first thought was dark gyrfalcon because it was bigger
than any peregrine I’ve ever seen and didn’t seem as “pointy”. It also
pursued the ducks in level flight and never attempted a stoop. I know
peregrine is much more likely in this area though so I’m just not sure.
Wondering if anyone else saw it?
