Weather: Fog and low clouds to start; 100% cloud cover for duration. SW winds shifting to west 3-14mph with some higher gusts. Temps ranged between 35-46'F. Visibility was fair with haze and glare. Raptor Observations: A few TV's left their roosts in fog. Local Red Tails again were plentiful. Two local CH's Hawks duetted together in their display flights. Bald Eagles continue to file through Adams Farm. Joanne Hart and I were treated to a spectacular show of an Adult Peregrine Falcon that flew over the parking lot 3 times in very close range trying to catch Starlings! Non-raptor Observations: C.Goose-28, Common Merganser-13, Duck Species-2, Sand Hill Crane-1, G.B.Heron-5, Ring Billed Gull-2, M.Dove-4, Bellied Woodpecker-1, Raven-3, A.Crow-3, Blue Jay-9, B.C.Chickadee-1, Tufted Titmouse-1, A.Robin-54, E.Bluebird-2, Starling-250+/-, House Sparrow-20+/-, Song Sparrow- 15+/-, White Throated Sparrow-4, Dark Eyed Junco-11, Northern Cardinal- 6, Red Winged Blackbird-1, C. Grackle-1, B.H. Cowbird-3 Predictions: Wednesday's weather will be similar to today's with a light west wind 6-11mph with partly sunny skies with a high of 45'F.
