A friend and I went for a run on John Nicholas Trail off Black Rd. Sunday morning and she spotted a bald eagle across the Lake Ranch Reservoir on the way back. At one point, the eagle took flight and I was hoping it would come to our side of the water, but no such luck! We could see the distinctive white head and white tail - unfortunately all I have is a grainy photo that would make Big Foot proud ;-)
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
