This morning at Tyson Bend I saw the first Great Blue Heron of the year. Also saw some smaller long-legged wading birds, but I lack the wherewithal to make a positive ID. In my observations this year, waterfowl seem to be more scarce than usual. Very casual observation. Chip Hubert Omaha.
