Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] The Gorgeous Grasshopper Sparrow still here!
Moving with one Savannah sparrow.

As you approach from the Corner of Del Mar And Balboa (park there if u can) heading north on the paved trail, pass the weather station and the Laguna Beach fire department Helo Pod container (just over the wee first ridge). There is a little Cracked asphalt path which runs east and west just on the other side of the Helo Pod (to its north). The birds were seen on the north side of that cracked asphalt path. From here: 33.53649° N, 117.75332° W. The birds moved Through the shorter grass along the edge of the Crapped asphalt pathway west towards the yellow fire hydrant with the four poles which is north west of the Helo Pod.

I found the birds first thing this morning, but there was so much disturbance of people and dogs It took me quite a long time to get photos. Much better by 9:15 PM.

They’re also appear to be two vesper sparrow up here if you need them. Those birds are not moving with these birds, but more along the main asphalt pathway edges in the shorter grass.

Best of luck!
