The ring-necked numbers at vischer ferry a couple of days ago were also
heavily skewed towards males. Cathy and I were in florida a couple of weeks
ago. There, the big scaup rafts seemed mainly to be heavily skewed toward
females. Maybe this reflects males generally migrating north earlier than
females? Just a guess.
