Subject: [sd-birds] Orman and WW Report
We had an appointment in Belle yesterday and stopped by briefly at the
Belle Fourche Reservoir which is completely open and all of the ice
gone.  The west inlet area had several thousand ducks and geese but we
didn't try to identify as we were in a hurry.  Didn't see any Cranes or
Pelicans.

The only new arrival at our feeders 1.5 miles south of Whitewood was a
Sharp-shinned Hawk on 3/19.  A photo is attached.  We finally had Mount
Bluebirds during our walk today on Crook City Road.  Numbers of some
species at our feeders appears to be increasing and we had 35+ Juncos on
3/18.
