I appreciate your response. I did not intend to indicate that other
forms of communication as I consider these communication channels vital,
especially when a group of people are spread out chasing or looking for a
rarity that was seen. Some kind of group texting app system that alerts
each of the different parties who might be searching as to where they have
checked without success or if the rarity has been relocated and including
location coordinates.
They are also great for use on field trips, local, or NOU etc if people
might be spread out and a rarity or unusual species is spotted.
I know that there was a group created by Caleb Strand? and a group that was
working pretty well and then petered out for some reason or another.
(cannot remember the app that was used).
