Daughter Becky came by the NYSEG nest on (Center St, extension) Number One Rd. out of Union Springs about 12:30 p.m. & was thrilled to see an osprey on the nest glaring down at her.
Center St. goes east from the Post Office off Rte. 90/Cayuga St. in Union Springs. Two wks. ago I watched the Bald Eagle fly to the nest in the headgerow tree behind the USHS. First saw both eagles there in January.
As Candace Cornell says ,,,, Eyes to the sky.
