Hi Everyone!
This morning, Edward Rooks, Carlos Mendoza and I led a field trip to Coyote Lake. We started at the campground where we had *Yellow-rumped Warblers* in breeding plumage, singing *Orange-crowned Warblers*, singing *Purple Finch* (even saw several), at least 3 *Red-breasted Sapsuckers*, and a variety of ducks on the lake including *Ruddy Ducks*, *Ring-necked Ducks*, *American Wigeons*, *Canvasbacks*, *Buffleheads*, *Gadwalls *and *Mallards*. After exploring this area, we caravanned to the dam. We lucked out here because both the *Canyon Wren* and *Rock Wren* showed themselves. We also had 4 *Bald Eagles*!
