Hello fellow birders and environmental stewards,
Most of you are familiar with Alllen's Meadow in Wilton as being one of CT's premier birding spots. Some of you are aware of the habitat restoration project I've been working on for the last 4-5yrs aimed at eradicating a 3/4 acre field of Mugwort adjacent to the community gardens and replacing it with a native pollinator meadow. That Phase 1 of the project has been very successful (see pictures in attached link) and now I'm fundraising through Sustainable CT for Phase 2 which is *planting c. 25 native berry-producing shrubs* around parts of the meadow's perimeter.
