Subject: [GABO-L] Birds on March 17
Good Morning -

Spring is in two days (but I’m still cold!).

Yesterday I had the following unexpected birds:

6 American Goldfinches: 3 M 3 F
There had been no goldfinches in about three weeks.

1 M House finch

1 F rose-breasted grosbeak
This bird has shown up at various times throughout the winter. There were two immature grosbeaks along with the adult female. One of them was starting to show some red on its breast. I tried to report these birds on the GBBC, but these birds were not allowed.

At this time there are four American Goldfinches at the feeders.
