Weather:
Mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy; 51-58 degrees; good visibility;
winds northwesterly 13-21 mph gusting to 32 mph. Finally some good
hawk weather after four days of no sun and an east component in the
wind.

Raptor Observations:
Very enjoyable day today with eight raptor species and good numbers of
accipiters (first day for this), Ospreys and American Kestrels

Non-raptor Observations:
Great Egret 2, Bonaparte's Gull 15, first Barn Swallow of the season

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay
at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
