Today I spotted a Common Crane among the many Sandhill Cranes east of Grand Island. The flock it was with was originally northeast of Stolley Park and Gunbarrel Roads, but then later moved south out of sight.
I wonder if this is the same individual that was reported two years ago in Hamilton County, just across the river from here.
