- Comments: "Found by M. Brady last year and continuing this morning in the willows west of sanitary district offices. Olive-gray back, white underparts, bright yellow throat and upper chest, and white lores."

With the male hooded oriole, at several points actually on the same leaf. Splotchy face and back, giving it a mottled appearance. No eyestripe. Much of the black on the face does look like it could be stain, as others have pointed out. However, the black on the cap and back looks fairly normal."
