Yesterday, I first hit Belle Isle Marsh from 3:45-5:15. I then hit the Revere Breakwater at the extreme southern end of Cresent Beach. I was hoping for Ruddy Turnstone. This was, of course, at low tide. Walk out to the breakwater anywhere from ninety minutes before low tide to ninety minutes after low, otherwise the infilling of the rising tide will cut you off from the shore. You could get caught out there by not being aware of what is going on. Also, beware of slippery rock leading to the breakwater.
