Weather:
Cloudy and warm, 15C. Strong south winds. Rain during the second full hour
of the count, diminishing for the third hour.

Raptor Observations:
Very slow overall. A few TV's early on but rain halted any movement until
mid afternoon when they hugged the shore line. *During the final hour a few
TVs were seen at the ballpark. Moved to the FED EX bldg. 1.8 miles from
the Hawk Watch site. Counted following:
TV 120
RSH 17
Kestrel 2
Merlin 1
RT 4
Coopers 1
Have not included these in the official count as yet.e

Non-raptor Observations:
A handful of Red Shouldered hawks, 2 Merlins

Site Description:
This spring only "all volunteer" watch is conducted at Lakeside Cemetery in
Hamburg, NY. It is located on flat lake plain located along the shoreline
of the east end of Lake Erie, about 10 miles south of Buffalo, NY.
