For something different, I walked some lengthy trails at this reserve near Heath. Not a lot around but worth it to see a gorgeous Red/Taiga Fox Sparrow perched up. I initially heard its loud call which sounded like a Brown Thrasher. Beautiful bird, lots of red on the face. Unfortunately, it didn’t perch long enough for me to grab a photo. Later I saw another that was much more gray which is variety I usually see in Ohio.
Several vultures were trying to find air when I arrived & most were Blacks but there were afew TVs mixed in.
