Subject: [ia-bird] Thousands of blackbirds, Yale IA
I don't know how you count masses of blackbirds, but they are literally 360
degrees surrounding me on a gravel road just NW of Yale, Dallas? County.
I've never seen so many. Far out in the fields, settling in the road
ditches, all around the farm nearby. Such an impressive sight in these high
winds. It looks like tens of thousands.
