Subject: Re: [birders] Non-Bird
Funny story - on Tuesday I was visiting my parents. My dad was outside
enjoying the sun and drinking some kombucha and he yells my name to come
out. He says, “I have never seen a red squirrel baby before. Look at this!”

I walk outside and the red squirrel baby runs in front of us. It was a
chipmunk. Once he realized his mistake we both laughed.

The ducks are back swimming on the lake (Common Mergansers and Ring-necked)
and all the birds are singing. I love this time of the year when it warms
up. I’ve had Red-shouldered hawks this week and Vultures soaring overhead.
The hyacinths are poking through the ground. Yay for Spring.
