Subject: [sd-birds] Bluebirds are back , sanborn county |
Yesterday I saw a bluebird at a nest box. This is a week later than last
year.
Been cleaning out nest boxes. It's that time year.
Killdeer are everywhere.
Seen the following ducks locally.
Green Wing teal, ring necked, lesser scaup, ruddy, buffle head, golden eye,
pintail, Mallard, wigeon, gadwall, hooded merganser, common merganser,
redhead, canvasback, shoveler.
No blue winged, red breasted merganser, wood duck.
All five geese species abundant
In my yard purple finches have increased,
