Observers:

Visitors:
Brian Berchtold and Mark Lethaby stopped for a short visit as well as four
other people curious as to what I was doing.

Weather:
Hazy sun with light ENE wind along the lake with a temperature difference
of 16 degrees Fahrenheit just 2 miles inland away from the lake.

Raptor Observations:
No raptors recorded for the first couple of hours and then I started seeing
singles and small kettles of TVs with an occasional hawk among them well
south of the watch where the SE wind met the ENE wind. They remained high
and to the south until the last hour when some individuals were seen flying
very high over the watch site. It is likely many birds were missed today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Canada Goose 6, Rock Pigeon 12, Mourning Dove 2, Killdeer 2, Ring-billed
Gull 50, Double-crested Cormorant 17, Red-tailed Hawk 2 locals, Belted
Kingfisher 2, Red-bellied Woodpecker 1, American Crow 14, Horned Lark 2,
European Starling, numerous Red-winged Blackbirds and Common Grackles,
unidentified Passerines 16.

Predictions:
Continued warm with rain in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon with
strong gusty winds from the south. Any break in the rain with a bit of sun
could get some birds moving.
