Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] wintersburg
No goldeneyes today, so perhaps they are finally gone. The last adult I saw
was three weeks ago. Two Greater Scaups were near the tide gates, including
an adult male. The last time I saw the Burrowing Owl was on 31 Jan. If
anyone has a scientific interest in determining its diet this winter, there
are two pellets on the well-whitewashed roosting rock just below the third
owl poster south of the bridge.
