The Corona Hill bird walk is back and meets this Saturday at 8 a.m. There are still a few spots left and you can register for it here: https://randallmuseum.org/birding-the-hill/ By mid- March many of our resident species are already well into their nesting cycles, wintering birds are preparing for their departure, and there's always the chance of an early migrant. The walk is geared for beginners but all levels are welcome. We focus on field ID, ear birding and status and distribution of birds in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
