Subject: [de-birds] First State NHP Bird Survey
The last survey at First State National Historical Park, Brandywine Valley Unit was on Thursday, March 6th. Highlights were multiple Bald Eagle and Raven sightings, plus Wood Duck and Tree Swallows. No new species were added but spring is right around the corner. Traditionally, Eastern Phoebes return by St. Patrick's Day. The next survey will be Saturday, March 15th, starting from the Ramsey Road parking lot at 8 am. If you're interested in attending, arrive a little early, parking can get a little tight.
 Good birding, Andy
