Hi Everyone!
This morning I visited Bear Creek Redwoods. I saw at least two Varied Thrush were off to the left as I was approaching the first building (37.182786, -122.002919). They seem to be continuing at that location - I've seen them repeatedly at the same spot. Also, a Pileated Woodpecker was in the fir trees just behind the buildings about here: 37.181848, -122.000807. The only birds on the pond were 2 Mallards and 3 Buffleheads. Here's the rest of my list: https://ebird.org/checklist/S217724320.
Happy birding!Eve Meier (San Jose)
