Weather:
Mostly sunny except for the last hour when clouds rolled in; 32-56
degrees; good visibility; winds from the W, SW or WSW
strengthening over the course of the day, 7-22 mph gusting to 32
mph

Raptor Observations:
A nice variety today with six species. Bald Eagles active all day
with lots of cavorting and calling, especially from a group of
three adults.

Non-raptor Observations:
Several flocks of Red-winged Blackbirds totaling over 500
individuals

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake
Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are
from the southwest.
