Subject: [sbcobirding] Carp and La Cumbre
All,

I dipped on all of the Carpenteria birds this morning. Admittedly, I didn't
try very hard for the Palm Warbler. They were landscaping at the campground
so sparrows were scarce. A stop work order was issued for the de-vegetation
that was happening at the painted bunting spot.

Afterwards I went to try my luck up at La Cumbre peak and ECC. Very quiet
up there.

When I got home I had the dubious distinction of adding a Scaly-breasted
Munia to my yard list.

Happy Birding,
Ben
Santa Barbara
