Subject: [NHBirds] Chapman’s Landing duck bonanza |
Stopped at Chapman’s Landing this afternoon and got a great show of ducks:
Mallard
American Black Duck
Common Goldeneye
Scaup, probably Lesser
American Wigeon
Wood Duck
A merganser sweep: Common, Hooded, and Red-breasted
Also many Canada Geese, a Red-tailed Hawk eating something, a few Ring-billed Gulls, and an adult Bald Eagle on the nest platform.
