Come join us for the Cayuga Bird Club's monthly meeting on Monday, March 10 at 7:30.
The meeting will be held at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology at 7:30 pm for a presentation by Morgan Hapeman, "Rehabilitating Wild Birds - a
Professional's Perspective".
Morgan is the executive director of the Finger Lakes Raptor Center in Lodi, NY.
Morgan will be sharing:

Licensing requirements to become a Wildlife Rehabilitator.

What to do if you find a sick, injured, or orphaned wild bird.

Common reasons for wild birds to come into rehab.
*
How the rehabber cares for various species.
*
Some interesting cases seen at Finger Lakes Raptor Center.
About the speaker: Morgan volunteered for Raptor Rehabilitation of Kentucky, Inc. during her last seven years working as an International B-757/B-767 Captain for UPS. After retiring ten years ago, she founded Finger Lakes Raptor Center, Inc. in Lodi, NY. She cares for approximately 300 native wild birds a year.

Cayuga Bird Club
Cayuga Bird Club meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, September through June, and are free and open to the public. In-person meetings are held at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, 159 Sapsucker Woods Road. The evening starts with social time at 7:00 pm, the reading of the bird list at 7:20 pm, and club business at 7:30 pm, followed by the speaker's presentation starting around 8:00 pm and ending by 9:00 pm. We will attempt to make presentations available virtually as a recording posted a few days later, on our You Tube channel @cayugabirdclub.
