Weather:
Near complete cloud cover; 43-45 degrees; good to excellent
visibility; winds very strong out of the W or WNW, 16-26 mph
gusting to 33 mph

Raptor Observations:
Our first Osprey of the season! Multiple Bald eagles in the air
most of the day plus one sitting on the pond edge and one sitting
on the beaver lodge. An adult Cooper's Hawk, which seems to be
hanging around, flew in and sat on the ground about 30 feet away
from us, apparently eyeing the sparrows and cardinals which had
been foraging nearby. Much to our delight, it stayed several
minutes.

Non-raptor Observations:
Four female Ring-necked Ducks on the pond
