Samuel and Helen, thank you so much for your efforts to inform the City about bird habitat in Fullerton. I intend to talk with the City of Dana Point about their vegetation removal/landscape practices. I think a lot of the change comes with education, and it doesn't hurt to have volunteer efforts to help on the ground. Years ago I was involved with reviewing a document called Tree Care For Birds and Other Wildlife. Do members know of any city OC that have any specific guidelines/requirements/restrictions to use as a model for landscaping that I might introduce to the Dana Point as a model?
