Weather: Overcast for most of the day with the sun attempting to peek through a couple times. High around 50F. Winds were SW 5-10mph. A light lake breeze picked up in the afternoon around 3.
Raptor Observations: Four raptors moved today; two Northern Harriers and two Rough-legged Hawks. The first Harrier was an adult male moving along the west spit and continued south east down the east spit. The first Rough-legged Hawk also took that route. The second Harrier came in low to check out the marsh and continued south down the east spit. The final Rough-legged came in behind us from the south quickly turned around and headed east.
Non-raptor Observations: Lots of Snow Geese, Canada Geese, and Tundra Swans moving today!
Predictions: Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High of 54F. Winds SSE at 15 to 25mph. Rainfall near half an inch.
