This morning at Zoo Lake the waterfowl are returning, some last seen briefly on migration last fall. Exactly two ring-necked ducks were seen, maybe the same two I saw one day only in October. That same day in October I also witnessed redheads and canvasbacks, just as today. Canvasbacks spent the winter but the redheads left after a few days. Earlier this week I saw a male eastern bluebird.
