I am excited to announce that my documentary “Bird Walk” will be screened at the Community Stories Film Festival presented by Docs in Progress on Saturday, March 15 during the 4:30 - 6 p.m. film block. The screening will take place at Docs in Progress, 8560 Second Ave., Suite 113 (entrance on Apple Ave.), Silver Spring, MD, one block from the Silver Spring Metro station. “Bird Walk” features the birds and birders who have flocked to Rockville’s RedGate Park, where more than 160 bird species have been sighted, and follows the grassroots campaign which helped preserve this defunct golf course as a public park and an avian oasis.
